Scorchin Boxing trains professionals and amateurs, boxers and individuals looking to get and stay in shape. All of our trainers are skilled professional and amateur trainers with over 40 years of fight experience.

Located in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Scorchin Boxing was established in 2016 by former amateur and pro boxer Jeremiah Witherspoon (Spoon). 

Our gym is a full service fitness facility offering boxing classes and training, we have a regulation sized boxing ring, free weights, weight machines, cardio machines, heavy bags, speed bags and much more! We have men’s and women’s locker rooms that offer a private changing area. 

 Scorchin Boxing is a family gym in an upbeat, action packed environment.

Our Classes

STUDENTS AND ADULTS CLASS

Lifting, Cardio, Weight Loss, Boxing, Heavy pads, Footwork, Build Confidence. All Regular Classes Monday, Tuesday, Open Gym, Thursday Class, and Saturday Class.

KIDS CLASS 7-12 YEARS OF AGE

A great physical workout as well as hard work and discipline. Our kids boxing classes stress team work as helping children learn to take directions, focus, and lose weight.

SENIORS CLASS

It’s a fantastic way to stay fit at any age, but it may be especially beneficial as you get older. Our class includes a lighter workout with a less strenuous pace.

OPEN GYM

A great opportunity to work on drills, technique, sparring, cardio and weightlifting.

COMPETITION TRAINING
Individuals looking to compete in professional or amateur competitions will work with our trainers to build their boxing skills and their endurance. Experienced fighters are also welcome to use the gym on their own.

FITNESS TRAINING
Boxing provides a high-intensity workout. An intense one-hour workout can burn up to 1000 calories. Our trainers will teach you boxing techniques while keeping you inspired, and encouraging you to push yourself to the next level.
